MAKE WEIRD ART!

my name is bug tourmaline-- i'm a 30-something gay ace trans man and i make zines.

i make art about, and for the purpose of, self-actualization, without sacrificing a sense of fun and playfulness.

after disappointing sketchbook feedback in a theatrical design course ten years ago dashed my ability to make visual art, i got a tablet for grad school and discovered that it was different enough to drawing by hand that i could suddenly make art again! therefore, many of my zines are digitally drawn and written, but i also do analog collage.

ZENITH is my equinox/solstice zine series, focused on my witchcraft and diy spirituality writings and readings of recent months.
